After reading Al Gore's recent book "Assault on Reason" and seeing "An Inconvenient Truth" I realized that this may just be the guy that is most qualified to lead our nation at this time. Smart, articulate, caring, 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner Mr. Gore needs to be convinced to run in 2008. The Al Gore 2008 Draft Campaign web site has a petition you can sign "asking Al Gore to run in 2008". Several polls show that if he were to run, he would be the leading Democratic candidate at this time.
ACTION: read the book, see the movie, sign the petition and pass it on!

Have you read State of Fear by Michael Crichton? Read the authors message if you don't want to plough through the whole book. Another good book on global warming is "Unstoppable
Global Warming" by S. Fred Singer and
Dennis T. Avery. A very different picture is presented.
